I absolutely agree, Simon, and so I usually just show them some rough sketches....I'd be furious if actual finished work got canceled, though. Fair enough rejecting a sketch, it's just done in minutes.

Yep, watercolor. The paint was applied below the lines so as to not accidentally cover the lines.
