Hi From Canada
Hi Leah, thanks for telling me about your Forum !!
Hi I live in Canada...the provience of New Brunswick.
45 years old, mom of 2 boys ages 5 and 6. (I know started late)
Today were having ANOTHER snow storm and its really cold outside.
I have a little cartoon to go with this event that I drew awhile back.
I have been doodling, cartooning, Oil Painting, etc most of my life.
Drawing relaxes me (When I get time between cleaning up toys or
doing the mommy thing)
I don't have much to say, but if you want to ask any questions go ahead. I will attach my little
cartoon here as well. Now to figure out how to attach things on here.
Have a great day everyone !

Re: Hi From Canada
Ps. I am sorry you are a 'maggot'
I created the user thingies ages ago and they change periodically. I basically picked whatever I felt amused me at the time...it does get better!!
epmonroe is a toad for example! Simon was once a fairy king but that's a long story...

Re: Hi From Canada
That's ok if I am a maggot....LOL....can I put some digitally made funny pictures, like the ones I used to have on my website that I don't have anymore....if you remember that....I will just add one here so you will know what I mean....I put Philip in his little car in the middle of a Nascar race.....I don't know if these count or not....I just want to ask you first, don't worry I won't put them all on....

My dad raced for 25 years here where I live (not Nascar), and his number was 23 on his car so I had to use that # on Philip's 1st car.

Re: Hi From Canada
You can post anything you like that's arty related, doesn't have to be all cartoons. I still think there is a great market for these unique style photo gifts, wish I knew how to make them!!

Re: Hi From Canada
There was a similar thing to that on The Apprentice if I'm not horribly mistaken?

Re: Hi From Canada
There was a simular thing to the picture I made on the Apprentice? Do you mean that show or what, I never watched it.
I used to do caritures before I had the kids, I have to get back at it before I lose what I taught myself. Does anyone here draw caritures by looking at someone sitting there or whatever or do you use photos to look off of, I can't look at someone and do it, they keep moving around

Re: Hi From Canada
I'll use a magazine photo, but only as a reference point,or if its some thing not so readily available I'll google the item.once I have the general idea, then I can go from there, but honestly I don't want to copy it.If I do that why draw? And keep on drawing even if its just a doodle, you start creating your own style. And that is always a good thing!

Yes I saw it on the telly the other day.

Thats the Huffington Post as well which is Mike Spencer's turf incase I'm horribly incorrect. The Apprentice is a TV program in the UK. I'm not sure if it has wandered abroad as of yet.
