What's bugging you?

I have just paid a small sum to remove ads from members view. I couldn't see them myself but my administration panel told me they were there. I don't benefit in any financial way from this site (or it's ads) and they're a bloomin' nuisance to members thus they've gone (for now at least, hopefully I'll keep this up!)

Let me know if there is anything else about the forum that isn't user friendly.

The new-look forum is slick and professional-looking, Leah: top marks, old bean!

The adverts never actually bothered me: they were cartoon-related, ie: the Complete 'CALVIN and HOBBES in a hefty 3-volume set for 65 quid: so heavy, it would be a struggle to carry it home from the shop: great value, if this is yer bag.

I appreciate that you take pride in getting the site in tip-top condition [no less], Leah, and de-cluttering the site is reaping aesthetically=pleasing dividends,

Thanks Rob I'm glad my efforts are appreciated . it took hours (and I mean hours!!!) of tweaking and messing about, and shared feedback from Simon to get this right. I want the forum to be as user friendly as possible for members.

Have you seen the new 'portal' page? It's a snap shot of what's going on at the cartoonist forum. I am hoping this will be helpful for new members particularly.
