Ah....that time again! I always look forward to these. The drawing style is so good and it's a pleasure to with-hold. You are an inspiration Rob!

Thanks very much, Simon......I am well into the swing of this now, with a lot more stuff penciled in and in the pipeline. These drawings help me a lot in coming upwith new areas and subjects to try out.....also it means that at least SOME people can see what I'm doing. In the past, I was getting ZERO audience for my cartoons.

hahaha is that a Polaroid camera Rob? They all use phones these days. I love that character holding the power supply with the tongue hanging out.

Yes, there is a lot of 'old-fashioned' looking stuff in this strip, Simon.........I have never featured a mobile phone as yet, for example.

This partly reflects my own outlook: I'm one of the few people who have never owned a mobile phone.

Here's something more topical, and down-to-Earth:

With a thud, I dare say. I hope that's not John Prescott or your characters will be wearing it!

he's just a generic job, Simon, however old Prescott was never boring!

Here's something more surreal:

Here's one I was going to enter for the caption comp over at ccgb, [but I changed my mind]:
