Robert James Luedke

INTRODUCTION

Robert James Luedke, has been involved in the comic book industry since
1995 as an illustrator, writer and publisher. From 2004-2010, Robert
produced and published his multi-award winning Eye Witness graphic novel
series... which, according to noted journalist David Crumm, is "a
marriage of Indiana Jones, Mission Impossible and the Bible.” Since
then, Robert has created a very eclectic and highly sought after
collection of limited edition comic and pop culture character prints.

GOALS

From a self publishing perspective, I'm working on going back and
revisiting my first creation (Template, 1995-'98/ http://www.headpress.info/publications.html) and finishing the epic story I began but was never able to finish back in the day. I plan on releasing it initially as a digital comic (through various platforms) then eventually packaging as one massive graphic novel.

From a freelance perspective, I've gotten a lot of interest from indy publishers and/or authors who want to see their creations brought to life...and I can take them from manuscript through print ready product. Also, I've always wanted to pencil an issue of either the Fantastic Four or Spiderman, but have never cultivated that kind of assignment, so who knows.

The goal of creating my character prints, is to have it facilitate me landing more and more commission work...hopefully ending up with doing full painted covers for the larger publishers.
