The carrots new to me, but you never know...made me laugh anyway !

Just a thought...
Would the strip work better if you reversed the composition of each panel ?
The child on the left and the adult on the right ?
It might make the first panel flow better and would certainly increase the impact of the last panel in that your eye would read the childs "...blog" speech balloon and THEN flow naturally to the adults reaction.
