BIO
I wanted to be cartoonist pretty much as long as I remember, particularly a comic strip creator (I drew a daily strip for my own enjoyment at the age of twelve), and have stuck stubbornly to the idea through thick and -- mainly -- thin.
Goals
I love the medium of comics, and would love to produce a full-length comic book (or graphic novel if you must) I also have a children's book idea (non-comic, though profusely illustrated) which I'm looking forward to finding the time for one day soon.
And, well... tons of other stuff, too. I just keep pitching ideas out there... and some of them stick.

Publications
I regularly contribute cartoons to Private Eye, Reader's Digest, and The Spectator, and have been published in many other magazines and periodicals in the UK and around the world, including Punch, The Times, The Independent, and The Beano.
I write and draw Mr Meecher The Uncool Teacher and Rocky's Horror Show for Britain's longest-running comic, The Dandy. I also created a comic adventure story called Bodkin And The Bear for another comic, The DFC.
I've also been commissioned to draw illustrations for book covers, websites, and various other things.
Favourite Cartoonists
All-time favourite: Ronald Searle. Just an absolute master of line.
I do have a LOT of favourite cartoonists, but the ones that have influenced me the most are Claire Bretécher (love the looseness of the linework and the sharpness of the writing), Barry Fantoni (fantastic *naive* style), Carl Giles (masterful attention to detail), Quentin Blake (gorgeous looseness of line), Sergio Aragonés (wonderful comic artist), Leo Baxendale (ditto), Berkeley Breathed (creator of the very funny daily strip Bloom County) ...and of course, Searle.
Location
Southern England
