Kid Cardona



Bio
I hail from San Antonio, Texas but was born in Corpus Chrisit. I have been a cartoonist for over 30 years. I am the Official Caricature Artist of Texas (SCR 17, Feb 1997). I am one of the founding fathers of the (ISCA) Internationa Socioty of Caricature Artists, which started off as National Caricaturist Network (NCN), in 1995.
Currently I have been living in China for the almost past 9 years, mostly in Chengdu, Sichuan province. I am now in Nanjing, Jingxi province working for Duda Studios as President of International sales and marketing as well as in charge of new international projects.

I am married a wonderful woman from Chengdu and we have been married now for 7 years.

Goals
I want to produce an animated cartoon that will have a fan following internationally.as well as make cartoons for various networks in the US and Europe markets. So far I am on schedual with these goals and should have pilots of at least three cartoons by next year.

Specialist Training

I did the Art Instructions course when I was a young teen. I have done various cartoon projects in the US and Europe since then. graduated the Moreno School of Cartooning and went on to be Vice President of International sales and marketing for the United Cartoonist Syndicate for 5 years and consulted for 5 years afterwards.

Favourite Cartoonists

I studied the works of Jack Davis, Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, early Disney works, and so many others to mention. I really like the humor of Brant Parker, Tom Ryan and Jim Davis just to name a few.

Sorry Simon,

I am just now seeing that you posted here. That is the real deal. it is against the law in China to touch or handle a live panda. I happened to be with the provisional governor at the time and he arranged this to happen. None of the others in the group wanted to go near the panda but I figured this will be the only time or chance to do it so why not.

It seems to be different drawings assembled together to make up a single image?
