Hi from Oil City, PA!

Hello All,

I'm new here, so please forgive my faux pas. I'm a fine artist and poet and have been cartooning for many years, though I haven't tried to get published yet. In the past I have focused on my art work and poetry, now I would like to try to get my cartoons published too. I had three cartoons in a show here in Oil City: the Frackin' Art Show at the Graffitti Gallery which was discussing fracking for natural gas production here in western Pennsylvania. I'd really appreciate any advice on getting my work out.

My current cartoon series is called 'Chat Room', remember chat in French means cat, pun intended! :-)

It's great to meet so many great fine Cartoonists, I'm really enjoying reading your work.

Welcome! I can't wait to see your cartoons! There are several other cartoonists here who been published, and they are full of great advice. Congrats on being in the frackin show, btw! (I can't hear that word without thinking of Battlestar Gallactica!)
