i wanted to clarify that i learned photoshop the way i wanted to learn it for my uses... and i am sure i'm not using it as it was really intended... i have arguments with pho-geniuses all the time about what photoshop "really" is..

I'm just about to launch my new baby right now (that's not as bad as it sounds, not Michael Jackson or anything). Stand by tonight for me publishing my new strip online. It's called Welcome To The Jungle..........................

Hello Tom. I guess toad is me,does'nt matter what I'm called as long as I'm called Very Happy . So what area in your professional opinion is the best direction? Annimation, aprenticeship, graphics?

I want my audience to feel the caracter, that's wht I print the words by hand, I want to create an emotional bond, being a collector of hundreds of comics and satirical magazines, it's the beauty of the skill of hand that was the draw and the one constant is hand printing.

I apreciate your honesty, If I could make a little money, that would be all frosting and gravy. Toad.. Ron Leon..DaD O Matic.

Hey Tom! I think it's cool that you've learned to use photoshop so it works for you - to hell with the "experts". They probably couldn't do what YOU do.

For my uses, I don't think I'll dig around too much into channels. I have absolutely no interest in the pre-press stuff - tried to get interested in college, but I can feel my mind glaze over, and then I go draw a cartoon. Very Happy It sure is fun to see how other people do their work, though!

it may well be that the best step a cartoonist can take is to look towards the gallery... original hand drawn art is more intrinsic.. framed drawings. maybe i'll go that way myself.
you know kathy... there's a lot to be said of working wiith boards, pens and watercolors. you don't even need electricity. nothing wrong with that.....
