My Cartoon Strip today
Here's my cartoon strip for today
http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20110821/cartoons/ZTV-Silly-season.381090
It's actually the first time I used a single panel for this strip which has now run weekly for nearly three years. I hope the humour crosses borders!

Re: My Cartoon Strip today
A bit of Dilbert influence there or what?

Re: My Cartoon Strip today
I had studied (that IS the correct word) the Dilbert books religiously before I set out on this strip. The boss in my strip roughly equates with the more famous pointy-haired boss as far as IQ goes. Interestingly in the very first Dilbert book (Shave the Whales) the trademark pointy hair is basically absent and Scott Adams developed it and perfected it along the ay. Shave the Whales is not the best Dilbert book by far but it is an interesting case book of how one of the best strips in the world (in my humble op) developed.

I get the joke
Can't say as I find it hilarious as watching paint dry is fairly old expression, it's a great drawing though.
Re: My Cartoon Strip today
Thanks Leah - I love an honest answer! Btw I note from your website you live in Dunstable - funny it is one of the unlikely places I visited in the UK. I was on a two day course there about ten years ago at OAG (I think they are called UBM Aviation nowadays) Not sure if they've relocated recently though. Such a small world....
Re: My Cartoon Strip today
It is a small world, Dunstable would be unrecogniseable to you now. Half the shops are closed and it's becoming increasingly run down.
