hello, I am a talentless militant cartoonists, currently the father of one dead internet cartoon: "The life of lab animals"

I thought that by joining I might regain my interest.

Hi spurious and welcome to the Forum. That's precisely what we do here. When business is slow it's nice to be able to have a place to exhibit and get comments and encouragement or even constructive critisism. Lab Animals seems to me to be a bit resricting if not controversial. You have a nice crisp and fresh style but you have to ask yourself if has the mileage to sustain that idea?

Well it's just that to maintain your interest and that of your audience I say if you want a strip to be sucessfull then draw about something that interests you and target a specific publication or website or whatever. That's what will give it legs. Also I tried to go for big names like Playboy and Hustler and the like to no avail so try for smaller rags that in your Village and stuff? Just thinking out aloud really but speaking from experience.
